The schedule has been set for the 29th Irish Conference of Medievalists, to be held at the University College Dublin Newman Building on the Belfield Campus from 1-3 July.
The conference hosts papers on an impressive array of topics, and this year's plenary lecture will be delivered by Dr. Rob Meens of the University of Utrecht, on the subject "Columbanus and the practice of penance in early medieval Europe."
A PDF of the full program is available from the conference website.
And, as an additional note, don't forget that early bird registration (€40; €20 for students, independent scholars and retirees) continues through 1 June, after which a late fee of €20 will apply.
