There are only three journals for which I own every issue since the initial publication, and one of those is Peritia, the journal of the Medieval Academy of Ireland.
The journal — published for quite a while by Brepols — now has new editors: Professor Dáibhí Ó Cróinín of NUI Galway, and Dr. Elva Johnston of University College Dublin.
The new editors are encouraging submissions on any aspect of medieval Ireland. For an article to be considered for volume 26 (publication in 2015), it must be submitted by 30 June. After that date, articles will be considered for volume 27 (2016).
Authors should familiarize themselves with the journal's peer-review policies and style sheet, both of which are available on the journal's website, peritia.ie.
Submissions, as well as any questions, should be sent via e-mail to editors@peritia.ie.
