The Department of Classics at Ohio State will offer an intensive Latin workshop during Summer Semester 2015 (11 May to 31 July) for 12 credits. The Intensive Latin Workshop covers the equivalent material of five courses (19 credit hours): Latin 1101-1103 and two Latin reading courses at the 2000-level.
The workshop will meet daily from 9 a.m.-12 noon and from 1-4 p.m., and will cover all Latin grammar needed to read classical and medieval authors in the first five weeks; the latter five weeks will be spent reading Vergil, Cicero and Ovid and a selection of other authors will be selected according to student interest.
