I have also been invited to give lectures at colleges and universities throughout the country and throughout the world, and I am also happy to speak before community groups on topics related to my research (such as the influence of classical antiquity on American politics, or the history of dog breeds, or the earliest interactions between the Irish and the Roman and Christian world, just to name three topics), although public speaking engagements are currently curtailed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
