Our friends at The Ohio State University Press have a page with full information about the new journal they're publishing on behalf of the Celtic Studies Association of North America, the North American Journal of Celtic Studies, or NAJCS.
One way to remember the acronym — courtesy of Józsi Nagy, the incoming Shattuck Professor of Irish Studies at Harvard — is that it can be pronounced just like "Nagy kiss" (as the name "Nagy" is pronounced in Hungarian: nɒɟ͡ʝ).
NAJCS editor Joe Eska is ready to receive submissions for the new journal, whose initial publication date is May 2017. The instructions for potential contributors are available in a PDF from the website of the press.
All of the disciplines that fall under the purview of the field of Celtic studies — including, but not limited to, archaeology, art, folklore, history, law, linguistics, literature, manuscript studies, mythology, and politics — will be published in the new journal. Contributions are welcome for all time periods from the ancient world to the present.
