Beta...or Gamma? Here's my blog 3.0
Well, I'm finally back online from the latest redesign...and a little earlier than promised.
(I learned this trick from the previous redesign two years ago and from the airlines: provide an arrival date far later than you'd ever think you'd get there, so that you can always claim to be early.)
Readers will notice that I've renamed the blog "Writing on the Wall" as a way to get in my association with
Ohio State's Epigraphy Center. As this site has evolved, I've tended to talk more and more on topics dealing with classical and medieval studies. The new title reinforces that connection.
This is the third iteration of this blog, which is why the title for this particular blog post is "Beta...or Gamma?" — playing upon the fact that gamma is the third letter in the Greek alphabet. On this 3.0 version, individual entries will now have titles, whereas before the entries did not have titles, only publication dates. Having a title will help those trying to find the entry through search engines and RSS aggregators.
